Bark for beautiful gardens and bouncy play areas
Mulch that loves the planet and hates weeds
Nationwide delivery | Three decades of experience | Products that are loved by our clients, products that love the environment
For more than thirty years we’ve sought out the best quality barks and mulches for every task – from the landscaping of back gardens, to the protecting of little hands and knees in the local play area. From garden centres to farms, orchards and local authorities we look after trade and public alike – delivering direct to your doorstep in an order size you define – in bulk sacs or a tipped loose load.
We’ve got rather high standards for our bark and mulches…
Meticulously processed, diligently packaged, our products are always free from pests, weeds, pathogens and foreign objects (such as stones, glass and plastic). Never treated with methyl bromide, our products are as pure as they are robust.
Bark for borders, beds and beautiful gardens
Beautify your borders, beds, seating areas and pathways with one simple tip and sift, with your choice of ornamental bark – from the deep, rusty hues of our chunky ornamental bark, to our lighter and brighter pine grade bark, you can pick and mix your colours to contrast against your choice of planting. And beyond beauty, bark can also take on weeds – supressing their growth whilst reducing the frequency of watering required. Less weeding, less watering – heck, what’s not to love? In every sense garden bark can be thought of as somewhat of a garden hero.
Bouncy bark that meets British Standards – for cushioning those trips and tumbles, beautifully
Used by schools, parks and nurseries across the UK, our child-friendly, impact-absorbing and fully certified play area bark is both practical and aesthetically pleasing – adhering to BS EN: 1177 2008, and ticking the box for good looks, our play bark proves perfect for both protection and appearance. Last but not least, play bark also stands the test of time, providing for ten years wear or more.
Taking on garden nasties one weed at a time
It’s well known that woodchip mulch reduces garden maintenance by supressing the growth of weeds, however the truth is our high quality woodchip mulches offer so much more than this, allowing for better water retention, the feeding of topsoil, moisture preservation over dry spells and the insulation of roots over those tough frosty periods.
Our mulch is also (always) peat free and environmentally friendly – graded to 40mm and comprising of a healthy mix between coarse and finely composted materials.
